Job summary

System One is seeking an L2 Production Support Specialist with AWS expertise to operate across a complex multi‑cloud environment, including Knoxville, TN; Columbia SC; Lafayette, LA; and Birmingham, AL. The role emphasizes governance, automation, and incident response in production cloud operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AWS production support, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with observability tools to improve platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting production environments in AWS.
• Solid understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EBS, SQS, AMIs, and AWS CLI.
• AWS certification is required for senior positions.
• Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to build automated dashboards, operational reports, and compliance metrics.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and on‑call support.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry or similar tools.
• Experience with AutoSys, RedHood, Apache Airflow, or other job management tools is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
