Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior AWS Python Developer in Knoxville, TN to design and enhance Python-based data solutions within the Financial Crimes portfolio. You will deploy with AWS services, optimize SQL workflows, and collaborate across engineering, data, and business teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Python and AWS experience, with strong skills in Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2 and CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong practical experience developing and supporting solutions in AWS.
• Experience with key AWS services, particularly Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, and CloudWatch.
• Strong SQL skills, including querying and working with large datasets.
• Experience with data engineering, data processing, or data-intensive applications.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift.
• Familiarity with container technologies and services such as ECS and/or EKS.
• Understanding of AWS security services and practices, including IAM and Secrets Manager.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Financial Services or Financial Crimes technology experience is beneficial but is not mandatory.
