Job summary

Wipro in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Network Operations & Support engineer to provide L2 support for enterprise networks, troubleshoot incidents within SLAs, and perform in-depth routing, switching, VPN, and WAN troubleshooting.

You will support 24x7 operations, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives in an MSP-like environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in network operations or MSP environment.
• Strong Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Working knowledge of Juniper devices and OS.
• Basic SD-WAN experience with VeloCloud.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar tools.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise and mid-market client networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents (P1–P4) within SLAs.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on routing, switching, VPN, and WAN issues.
• Support 24x7 operations.

Skills

Strong Cisco routing & switching

Working knowledge of Juniper

Basic SD-WAN (VeloCloud)

Experience with ServiceNow

TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VPNs
