Job description

The Patient Care Technician must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis procedures and possess the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to care for dialysis patients. This position requires understanding of patient rights and maintaining an environment that respects privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe, secure setting. The role works under the supervision of a physician or a registered nurse experienced in dialysis treatment. The technician collaborates with team members to plan and execute duties with clinical and supervisory guidance, exercising appropriate judgment. Although primarily assigned to a home facility, this role supports staffing needs across multiple facilities within a region. Candidates must have at least 1 year of PCT dialysis experience and current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO, or other applicable state-approved certifying body.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A desire to care for people and comfort working around blood and needles.
• Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO, or other state-approved certifying organization for experienced PCTs.
• Current BLS / CPR certification for experienced PCTs.
