Job summary

Funxyz is hiring a hands-on L2 Support Associate to tackle technically deep, time-sensitive fintech cases. You’ll trace transactions, verify accounts, and document investigations with precision, using on-chain data and explorer tools across multiple chains.

The role emphasizes rigorous documentation, collaboration with policy owners, and adherence to approval frameworks. NYC in-person work is expected with scope for growth in a fast-moving blockchain environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical, support, or operations role.
• Comfortable navigating blockchain explorers (e.g. Etherscan, Solscan) and reading on-chain transaction data.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented; investigation trails must hold up to scrutiny.
• Strong written communication for documenting investigations clearly and consistently.
• Comfortable working within defined approval frameworks rather than making unilateral calls on consequential cases.
• Prior exposure to compliance, fraud, or trust & safety workflows.
• Experience at a fintech, payments, or crypto-native company.
• Familiarity with AML/OFAC concepts, or interest in learning them on the job.

Responsibilities

• Investigate Complex Support Cases end-to-end: tracing transactions across chains, verifying account and wallet details, and resolving issues that don’t have an obvious answer.
• Build Clean, Auditable Case Files: document facts of every investigation clearly for a consistent decision.
• Get Genuinely Technical: use on-chain explorers, internal tooling, and blockchain data across multiple chains to understand what happened.
• Flag Patterns Upward: surface recurring issues or policy gaps to the Support Lead and Head of Customer Support.
