Transdev in San Diego is seeking Autonomous Specialists to support safe autonomous driving operations at the depot. You will prepare vehicles for driver testing, manage assets, and respond in-field to keep operations smooth.

This role builds essential knowledge of our Autonomous Vehicle Fleet and offers a path toward advancement into autonomous vehicle operations and other technical roles within the company. Training and growth are emphasized as you develop key responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Operate/drive van or truck; five days a week; solo or with a co-driver.
• Respond quickly to changing, high-pressure environments.
• Handle heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Install equipment and verify it starts successfully.
• Complete duties on time and according to schedules.
• Complete daily reports and documents.
• Assist with basic vehicle adjustments and settings while parked.
• Set up cars for charging and maneuver in parking lot.
• Disinfect cars, workstations and prepare sanitization kits.
• Maintain high safety standards inside and outside the vehicle.
• Work mostly individually but also in small groups of 2–10 people.
• Be the deputy for vehicle launch and preparation.
• Communicate uploading errors while prioritizing high-priority uploads.
• Package and ship equipment needing repair.
• Assist with asset inventory/check in/checkout process.
• Push shift efficiency (Fast Startup).
• Basic troubleshooting at shift startup.
• Ensure startup and shift checklists are being followed.
• Demonstrate continuous development and proficiency for advancement into Autonomous Vehicle operations.
• All other duties as assigned

Overview:

Transdev’s Autonomous Specialists are critical to the success of delivering safe autonomous driving systems to our customers, enabling a revolutionary mobility experience.

Our role is the backbone of daily operations, primarily focused on depot work. L-1 associates are responsible for servicing fully autonomous vehicles, preparing them for driver testing missions, and performing asset management and cleaning tasks. Additionally, they provide in-field event response when needed to ensure smooth operations.

This position serves as the foundation for building essential knowledge of our Autonomous Vehicle Fleet. By continuously developing skills and demonstrating proficiency in key responsibilities, you'll be prepared for advancement into Autonomous Vehicle operations and other technical roles within our structure.

Pay Rate: $24.00- $26.00

Key Responsibilities:
