The L&R Group is seeking an Environmental Technician in Kuna, ID to support field and facility tasks for environmental projects, ensuring safety and compliance. You will prepare equipment, assist with onsite execution, and handle post-job paperwork while supporting yard operations.

  • Understanding of hazardous waste, waste streams, and related documentation.
  • Exposure to transport operations and environmental field work preferred.
  • Knowledge of generators, heavy equipment, computers, and related industry equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort with email and administrative software.
  • Familiarity with equipment used in environmental operations.
  • Understanding of DOT, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Field related certification or training preferred.
  • Customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Stock trucks and trailers with required equipment and ensure driver binders contain all necessary documentation.
  • Complete arrival and checkout tasks at project locations according to established procedures.
  • Perform environmental fieldwork as assigned, supporting safe and efficient project completion.
  • Turn in all jobrelated paperwork promptly, ensuring it is complete, legible, and properly organized.
  • Assist with yard operations, including equipment organization, cleaning, and general facility upkeep.
  • Support Environmental Manager, Environmental Compliance, Transport, and Field Services teams as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment across all field and yard operations.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and supervisors to support successful project outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Environmental Technician performs field and facility tasks to support environmental projects, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures.
