Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Marble Falls is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit on a full‑time day shift. The role supports mothers and infants, with 1:1 labor and 1:3 couplets, on a 13‑week commitment and 12‑hour shifts.

The RN will assess and plan care, delegate tasks per Texas Nursing Practice Act, and promote safe patient transitions. A completion bonus of $1,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Major in Nursing.
• RN license and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, identify diagnoses and develop a plan.
• Delegate to health care personnel based on Act and competencies.
• Ensure safe passage and timely patient care transitions.
• Document care plans and patient responses.
• Participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
