Job summary

Methodist Hospital's Family Birth Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will manage patient care episodes in collaboration with patients, families, and other care providers, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.

Flexible overnight options with 12-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts and 0.6–1.0 FTE, offering a range of full-time and part-time opportunities in Saint Louis Park, MN. A BSN is preferred and MN RN license is required; experience in L&D is valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
• 1+ years L&D experience

Responsibilities

• The RN manages the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care.
• May provide direct care by the RN, or coordinate and supervise patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
