North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas is seeking an experienced L&D RN to provide bedside obstetric and newborn care across triage, labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. You will interpret fetal monitoring, support vaginal and cesarean births, administer meds, document clearly, and collaborate with the care team to keep mothers and babies safe.

Competenze

Current Arkansas RN license (or compact eligible).
BLS at hire; NRP within 6 months of hire.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course per recommendations; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Mansioni

Triage and assess OB patients; update care plans and inform providers.
Monitor fetal heart rate and intervene for non-reassuring patterns; support vaginal and cesarean births.
Start IVs and administer oxytocin and other meds per protocol; document responses.
Postpartum care and education; monitor for hemorrhage, infection, hypertension; teach newborn care.
Newborn care: initial checks, thermoregulation, respiration, glucose stability; escalate concerns early.
Ensure SBAR handoffs; follow Baby‑Friendly practices; maintain infection prevention and accurate EHR documentation.
