Job summary

Express Employment International (US) is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Polson, Montana. The RN will provide comprehensive obstetric care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn services in a technologically equipped, patient‑centered environment.

The role requires active RN licensure, 2+ years of L&D experience, and EPIC experience, with certifications including BLS, NRP, STABLE, and CLC.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 2+ years Labor & Delivery experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Current BLS, NRP, STABLE, and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being with wireless monitoring systems.
• Manage obstetric emergencies including postpartum hemorrhage.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Document patient care in EPIC.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team.
• Maintain safety, quality, and infection control standards.
