Required are clinical certifications (BLS/ACLS/NRP), a CA license, and 3+ years in L&D within a Level I Trauma setting, with strong triage and family support skills. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• CA license/certification in good standing.
• 3+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Must have valid BLS/ACLS/NRP and fetal monitoring credentials.
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card required.
• PSV verification or licensing board verification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal status and interpret fetal heart rate patterns.
• Administer medications and assist with complicated labor and deliveries.
• Provide routine nursing interventions and triage obstetric cases.
• Respond to urgent, emergent, and scheduled C-sections and post-op recovery.
• Support breastfeeding, pain management, and safe postpartum/newborn transitions.
