Job summary

Riverside Health System in Onancock, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients in the Critical Care/Telemetry settings.

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration required in Virginia.
• CPR/BLS Certification required (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop, implement and evaluate plan of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safe patient transitions.
• Demonstrate urgency to improve patient throughput and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families, tailor education to diverse populations, and document comprehension.
• Complete all required clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks and respond to emergencies as needed.
