Engineering Management Institute (EMI) is seeking an L&D Program Operations Manager to help coordinate and drive the successful execution of our client engagements and cross-functional projects.
In this role, you’ll work directly with clients and team members across EMI to coordinate timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables -helping turn commitments into clear, actionable plans and keeping projects moving forward.
This is a full-time, fully remote individual contributor role reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). While the title reflects ownership of program and client operations, this is not a people-management position. It’s an opportunity for an experienced project and operations professional to take meaningful ownership of client engagements, strengthen how we manage our work internally, and play an important role in delivering an exceptional experience for EMI’s clients.
Coordinate client engagements and cross-functional projects from planning through execution.

Maintain project timelines, trackers, milestones, deliverables, and documentation.

Translate client commitments and project requirements into clear, actionable plans.

Coordinate responsibilities and deadlines across internal teams.

Proactively identify dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and resource needs before they become larger issues.

Communicate directly with clients regarding scheduling, timelines, milestones, and operational needs.

Partner with the COO, CEO, and other EMI leaders on resource planning, escalations, and complex project needs.

Help strengthen and improve the processes and systems EMI uses to manage its work.
