Job summary

San Antonio Area Foundation seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to lead program planning, facilitator coordination, and curriculum alignment. You will drive evaluation and continuous improvement to strengthen nonprofit capacity across the community.

Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, this is an individual contributor role requiring partnership with multiple departments and external partners. Hybrid work setup in the San Antonio area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, nonprofit capacity building, or program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of Learning & Development programs, learning pathways, certificates, workshops, and special initiatives.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for facilitators, instructors, consultants, and external learning partners.
• Coordinate curriculum development, updates, and content review to ensure materials are relevant and accessible.
• Analyze participant feedback and program metrics to identify themes and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide program direction to the Learning & Development Coordinator and support collaboration across departments.
• Support cross-functional efforts with Finance, Marketing, IT, Community Engagement and others for successful program implementation.
