Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pediatric/General Registered Nurse for the L&D OR unit on a part-time days schedule. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, apply the nursing process to patient care, and collaborate with physicians to plan and implement care.

BSN preferred; RN licensure with BLS required, ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area. Primary location: Baptist Medical Center East; position involves standard shift duties with weekend/ holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required, Additional certifications may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Ensure quality and continuity of patient care across units.
