Job summary

Baptist Health in central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (RN L&D) for PRN night shifts at Baptist Medical Center East. This role requires supervising nursing staff on shift, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

You will use the nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. BSN preferred; active RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift and during weekends/holidays.
• Apply the nursing process in assessments, planning and care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care.
• Perform additional unit-specific duties as assigned.
