In this role, you will help ensure that Meta's customer due diligence, identity verification, and onboarding controls meet applicable regulatory requirements and internal policy standards. You will partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Engineering, Product, and Operations to identify compliance gaps, drive program improvements, and scale KYC processes as Meta's payments and financial products grow. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a compliance function that directly supports the integrity and trustworthiness of Meta's financial services offerings.

KYC Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the execution of KYC program initiatives, including customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and identity verification workflows across Meta's payments and financial services products
  • Monitor KYC program health by tracking key performance indicators, identifying control gaps, and escalating risks or issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Operations teams to design and implement scalable KYC controls and onboarding processes that meet regulatory requirements
  • Translate regulatory requirements and internal policy standards into clear operational procedures and technical specifications for cross-functional partners
  • Drive process improvements and operational enhancements that increase the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of KYC workflows
  • Develop and maintain program documentation including policies, procedures, process maps, and control inventories relevant to KYC and customer due diligence obligations
  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance reviews by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with data and analytics partners to build reporting and monitoring capabilities that provide visibility into KYC program performance and risk exposure
  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders across compliance, legal, and business functions, including periodic updates to leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance program management, regulatory operations, or a related function within financial services, fintech, or a technology company with payment or financial products
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to drive work to completion with limited oversight
  • Experience translating regulatory or policy requirements into operational procedures, controls, or technical specifications
  • Experience with KYC, customer onboarding, due diligence, identity verification, risk, or compliance frameworks and their operational implementation
  • Experience designing and operating model monitoring, testing, or attestation frameworks and producing audit- or regulator-ready evidence
  • Proficiency in data analysis and techniques (SQL) to perform root cause analysis and inform process-based redesign
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience developing and implementing automation (e.g., performing prompt engineering, benchmarking, launch planning) in a business context
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Familiarity with BSA/AML regulatory requirements, FinCEN guidance, or international KYC standards applicable to payments or financial services products
  • Experience using data analysis or reporting tools to monitor compliance program metrics and surface actionable insights for program improvement
  • Experience working with automated identity verification platforms, onboarding tooling, or KYC technology solutions in a fintech or payments environment
