AngelList is seeking a KYC Operations Associate to own the standard for investor verification at the heart of every close. You'll work on the queue with the team, become the SME others rely on, and push product and policy changes in collaboration with engineering and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in KYC/AML operations, CIP, CDD/EDD, sanctions/PEP screening.
• Precise by default; accurate with sensitive data.
• Able to handle high-volume queue with accuracy.
• Independent with broad scope and comfortable with changing tools.
• Interested in automation and how AI affects this work.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end KYC/KYB/CDD reviews for individuals and entities.
• Make disposition decisions and escalate cases needing enhanced due diligence.
• Serve as a reliable KYC resource for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Fix pain points by collaborating with engineering for product improvements.
• Design scalable processes and automated solutions for KYC volume.
