The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $70K and $80K/year.

Department Overview

CSG (Client Services Group) is a dynamic division of Nomura Wholesale Operations that drive client success across the globe – providing client onboarding, KYC diligence, client outreach, entity data management and sales support. As part of our prestigious Global Markets KYC team, you will serve as a key ambassador for one of the world’s leading financial institutions while helping to proactively identify risks and process improvements.

Role Description
  • Master KYC Excellence: Take ownership of comprehensive KYC due diligence process for new and existing client relationships, serving as the expert guardian ensuring all clients successfully navigate regulatory requirements before relationship approval.
  • Drive Regulatory Precision: Analyse client data, documentation, and negative news to determine accurate risk profiles, positioning yourself as Nomura’s trusted KYC specialist who ensures flawless compliance with firm procedures.
  • Risk Assessment Innovation: Proactively resolve complex KYC challenges by leveraging your analytical expertise and regulatory knowledge, coordinating with global teams while escalating appropriately to deliver seamless compliance outcomes.
  • Orchestrate Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central KYC facilitator, seamlessly coordinating with Client Onboarding, Compliance, Business and Global Reference Data teams to deliver streamlined regulatory experiences.
  • Foster Strategic Compliance Partnerships: Maintain continuous expert communication with global and local counterparts, ensuring transparency and sustained regulatory momentum that reflects our commitment to compliance excellence.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required
  • 2-5 years KYC/AML experience with proven expertise in regulatory compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of the US AML/KYC regulations with ability to navigate complex compliance requirements.
  • Series 99 certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing high‑volume KYC requests in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where you thrive under pressure.
