Job summary

Mercury is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional for our Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) team. You will conduct thorough reviews of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and provide support for our BPO partners.

In a fast-paced fintech environment in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will perform KYC Refresh and Enhanced Due Diligence, document rationale, escalate issues, and maintain accurate records while prioritizing quality and clear written communication.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
Detail-oriented and thorough in review work.
Excellent written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, able to work independently in a queue-based role.
Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an organized workflow.

Responsibilities

Conduct KYC Refresh and/or Enhanced Due Diligence Reviews as needed.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary volumes through trends and themes from reviews.
Support BPO partners with escalations tied to CIP, CDD & EDD.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
Document rationale after account review to justify decisions.
Identify and escalate potential issues to management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reviews conducted.
