Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Cary, NC is seeking a CaaS Private Site Reliability Engineer (Vice President) to lead reliability for the CaaS Private platform. You will focus on Kubernetes, observability, automation, and incident management while aligning with enterprise reliability standards.

You will partner across engineering, operations, and applications teams to strengthen SLOs and platform readiness, delivering measurable improvements in service health and resilience.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Bare Metal Kubernetes, Linux and distributed systems reliability.
• Strong experience in production platform operations and incident management.
• Proficient in observability, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and root cause analysis.
• Experience defining SLOs, service indicators, alert quality standards and production readiness practices.
• Ability to lead reliability improvements independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity and optimize workflows with responsible data use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reliability strategy for the CaaS Private platform in the US, directing SLO frameworks and incident management maturity.
• Drive resilience improvements across observability, capacity planning, upgrade safety, disaster readiness, and automation.
• Own complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
• Define service indicators, alert thresholds, dashboards, and postmortem follow-through.
• Develop automation and self-healing workflows to reduce manual effort and improve recovery times.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and applications teams to ensure measurable, supported platform changes.
