PNC is seeking an accomplished Software Engineering Group Manager to lead Kubernetes-based container platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. This executive role defines strategy, architecture, and operational excellence, partnering with DevOps, security and networking teams to drive scalable container hosting.

You will shape roadmaps, enable self-service via APIs, and mentor engineers while prioritizing user experience and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years in technology leading container platform engineering teams.
Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem solutions.
Strong communication and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define the roadmap for container platforms (Kubernetes) and CaaS for enterprise workloads.
Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure containerized infrastructure.
Oversee product development, translate requirements into technical specs, and promote adoption.
Represent customers and study market trends to guide product development.
Ensure performance, usability, and reliability of container workloads; enforce security and compliance.
