Invictus Pro Talent in Philadelphia is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and automate cloud-native infrastructure for voice services modernization. This role focuses on transforming traditional VM-based middleware and backend services into scalable, resilient Kubernetes-based platforms using modern DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability practices.

The engineer will work across infrastructure, application modernization, automation, and operational support

Qualifications

• Experience in Kubernetes administration and cloud-native deployments.
• Proficient with Ansible and Terraform for automation.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenStack cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tooling and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Assess current voice apps, VM deployments and infrastructure dependencies.
• Design Kubernetes architectures optimized for latency and high availability.
• Containerize middleware and plan scalable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenStack).
• Implement observability—logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards.
• Ensure security, resiliency, and production support best practices.
• Support migration planning, testing, and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud-native environments.
• Create operational docs and transfer knowledge to teams.
• Collaborate with dev, ops, and architecture to modernize voice services.
