Job summary

Rackner is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms across DoD-related cloud environments. You will work hands-on with Kubernetes, Helm, and Go, developing reusable platform capabilities for engineering teams and integrating with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with mid-to-senior level ownership and the opportunity to influence cross-team decisions while remaining

Qualifications

Deep hands-on experience building, operating, or extending Kubernetes environments.
Strong proficiency with Helm and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
Ability to write Go code and maintain Kubernetes tooling.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate secure, resilient Kubernetes platforms.
Develop platform capabilities using Go and maintain Helm charts.
Automate deployment via CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC.
Troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud infra.
