Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Platform / DevSecOps Engineer to manage Kubernetes clusters, enable secure application delivery, and guide tenants in a high‑growth environment. You will work across cloud and on‑prem platforms, leveraging Helm, Istio, and Argo Flux to automate deployments and ensure compliance.

You will engage with a large engineering team, mentor tenants, and contribute to CI/CD modernization while maintaining strong security posture in a hybrid Tampa, FL setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience designing and deploying Kubernetes in production.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for microservices across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure reliability and security of clusters.
• Collaborate with developers and tenants to translate requirements into Kubernetes configurations.
• Provide training and guidance on best practices for deployment patterns and operations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design to enable secure, repeatable delivery.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and operations.
