Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Northern VA seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable Kubernetes-based platforms on AWS. You will drive automation, secure configurations, and IaC practices across teams.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, container security, and collaboration with development squads to enable reliable, fast, and compliant software delivery. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE role, with demonstrated experience in container technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform or Ansible).
• Experience programming/scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with IAM concepts (policies, roles, service accounts).
• Must have CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8140 qualified certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
• Automate deployments, services, ingress, storage, networking, and RBAC in Kubernetes.
• Deploy and maintain containerized DevSecOps platform services.
• Implement image hardening, security best practices, and registry management.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable scalable deployment of containerized workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS resources (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3).
• Build and maintain automation for configuration management (Ansible).
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, testing, and security workflows.
• Enhance reliability, automation, security, and operational efficiency.
