Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in the Northern Virginia area is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on Kubernetes and modern containerized infrastructure to join the team. You will help deploy, automate, and secure Kubernetes environments across AWS, aligning with infrastructure-as-code practices and DevSecOps.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevOps or SRE, strong scripting, IAM knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on Kubernetes clusters and production AWS environments.
• IaC and automation with Terraform and Ansible.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• IAM concepts including policies, roles and service accounts.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140 certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and ensure reliability of Kubernetes clusters across environments.
• Automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines for secure workflows.
• Implement IaC with Terraform for AWS resources (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3).
• Hardening and security compliance in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with development teams and provide architectural input.
