Job summary

Cresta is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE to join our team and own the reliability and tooling for our multi-cloud infrastructure. You will partner with engineering to build dev tools, automate deployments, and ensure secure, scalable orchestration across clusters.

The role requires strong Golang/Python coding skills, deep Kubernetes knowledge, and hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, Helm, Flux/Argo, and cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
• Deep proficiency with coding languages such as Golang or Python.
• Deep familiarity with container-related security best practices.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and related tooling (cert-manager, external-dns, Helm, Kustomize).
• Experience with IAC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, EC2, EKS) and other clouds (GCP, Azure).
• Experience with database software such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GitOps tooling (Flux, Argo).

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers to build DevOps tooling and dev workflows.
• Ensure reliability of multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters and pipelines.
• Implement metrics, logging, analytics, and alerts for performance and security.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling across multiple cloud providers.
• Automate operations to focus on high-impact work.
• Build ML infrastructure to enable AI teams to train, test, and deploy on large-scale data.
