Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Rosemead, CA is seeking a Senior Engineer in Technology with hands-on Kubernetes administration and DevOps expertise.

You will deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (RKE2), implement GitOps with ArgoCD, and build robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Helm. You will also manage artifacts with Nexus, scripts with Bash and Groovy, and troubleshoot complex infra issues.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration (prefer RKE2).
• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in Helm charts for packaging and deployment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience with Nexus for artifact and image management.
• Strong scripting in Bash and Groovy.
• Solid knowledge of Linux OS and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Docker and container runtime basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.

Responsabilidades

• Kubernetes Deployment & Management: Deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (RKE2).
• Application Deployment & Configuration: Manage onboarding, configuration, and deployment into Kubernetes using Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues in Kubernetes environments, including networking, pods, services, ingress, and CI/CD failures.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy and shared libraries; integrate with Nexus and Kubernetes workflows.
• Automation & Scripting: Create and maintain Bash/Groovy scripts for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Artifact & Dependency Management: Manage build artifacts, container images, and dependencies using Nexus and Git.
• Linux System Administration: Perform routine Linux admin tasks including monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.

Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Devops, Kubernetes Administration, ArgoCD, Helm, Jenkins, Nexus Repository, Git, Bash scripting, Groovy, Linux (Administration & Troubleshooting), DNS, Certificates, CI/CD

Roles & Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Deployment & Management Deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (RKE2). Ensure cluster health, performance, and security.
• Application Deployment & Configuration Manage application onboarding, configuration, and deployment into Kubernetes using Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications running inside Kubernetes clusters, including networking, pods, services, ingress, and CI/CD failures.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy and shared libraries. Integrate with Git, Nexus, and Kubernetes deployment workflows.
• Automation & Scripting Create and maintain Bash/Groovy scripts to automate deployment, integration, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Artifact & Dependency Management Manage build artifacts, container images, and dependencies using Nexus and Git repositories.
• Linux System Administration Perform routine Linux administration tasks, including system monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.

Salary Range: $135,000-$142,000 a year
