The Andersen Lab in the Department of Biology is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine laboratory processes and follow established protocols under close supervision. Duties include but are not limited to the generation of reagents, ordering of lab supplies, propagation of nematodes, vertebrate animal handling, parasitic nematode isolation and genomics, operation of general lab equipment, lab maintenance, and management of work-study personnel.
The Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory processes and follows routine protocols under close supervision.

This is a grant-funded position; continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding.
