Job summary

DLA Careers is seeking a Supply Systems Analyst to support DoD supply chain and order fulfillment processes in a federal environment. You will gather data, analyze performance, and provide written guidance for top-level briefs to military customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, analyzing material availability, and coordinating with Customer and Supplier Operations to enhance efficiency and mission readiness. Federal requirements and DoD certification are part of the role.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level in DoD/federal/private sector.
• Interpreting policy direction affecting Order Fulfillment operating requirements; implementing directives/policies.
• Analyzing Order Fulfillment processes to determine if targets are met; recommending improvements.
• Performing process capability and evaluation studies to analyze trends and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes complex data regarding past, present, and projected process activity.
• Prepares reports and recommendations for top-level management briefings, including for Command, HQ DLA, and military customers.
• Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates KPIs and other critical data to ensure performance targets are met; identify trends.
• Analyzes material availability and consolidation of components into kits; monitor system transactions and inventory levels to support kitting operations.
• Analyzes Order Fulfillment KPIs to determine if goals are met.
• Reviews data regarding business processes to evaluate efficiency against customer and supplier requirements.
• Identifies process constraints and develops strategies to satisfy customer and supplier expectations.
• Analyzes regulatory requirements impacting process activities and interprets governing documents.
