Job summary

You will work with Access and Excel, coordinating automated systems and ensuring compliance with federal requirements in a temporary appointment.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 level in federal service.
• Experience coordinating objectives and projects involving automated systems such as DSS.
• Designs, programs local computer systems using Access databases and Excel; analyzes work processes to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Acts as technical advisor on functional supply systems.
• Interprets higher level guidance and develops local operating instructions and policies.
• Performs studies on scope, applicability, and priority of IT applications and procedures.
• Evaluates and analyzes supply system problems and coordinates corrective actions.
• Executes data queries to gather workload for testing programs or training personnel.
• Studies, analyzes, and tests new or modified system increments and presents changes.
• Reviews and submits major and minor System Change Requests to existing systems.
