Job summary

Language Services Associates (LSA) seeks interpreters in the Los Angeles, CA area to support LEP communities across diverse settings. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will provide high-quality interpretation and confidentiality for clients, reporting on-site to assignments as needed.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Korean with 1+ year of interpreting experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Korean is required.
• Professional interpreting experience of 1+ year preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings such as CMI or CCHI are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.

Overview

Language Services Associates is looking for XXX interpreters in the Los Angeles, CA area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience

• Full fluency in both English and Korean
• The ability to provide a high level of client service
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
