Job summary

Language Services Associates is looking for XXX interpreters in the Los Angeles, CA area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, upholding the Code of Professional Conduct with confidentiality, following industry interpretation protocols, and reporting to accepted assignments on time.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Korean.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
