Cesna Recruitment is seeking a Korean Bilingual Purchasing Specialist in Melrose Park, IL. This full-time, onsite role focuses on vendor management, sourcing new suppliers, and coordinating PO execution to maximize sales velocity.

You will travel to trade shows and retail locations, with strong Excel data analysis supporting decision-making. English/Korean bilingual communication is preferred, and U.S. work authorization is required. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing and managing vendor relationships.
• Willingness to travel for national/international trade shows.
• Strong merchandising and field audit capabilities.
• Proven ability to plan and execute purchase orders.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Bilingual English/Korean preferred for communication.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management & Expansion: manage relationships with hundreds of vendors and source new suppliers to expand product portfolio.
• Extensive Travel & Trade Shows: frequently attend beauty trade shows to discover products and negotiate with vendors.
• Field-Based Merchandising: visit retail locations to audit placement and ensure PO leads to sales velocity.
• Strategic PO Execution: analyze POS data to determine order quantities and timing.
• Continuous Follow-up: maintain communication with vendors regarding lead times, pricing, and performance.
• Networking & Communication: liaise with on-site store management and vendors.
• Analytical Grounding: use Excel to track vendor and sales data.
• Operational Agility: adapt to travel and fast-paced environments bridging office and stores.
• High Learning Potential: learn end-to-end purchasing system.
