Job summary

Osborne Construction Company in Kodiak, Alaska is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on active projects. You will support planning, coordination, and execution across all project phases, working closely with owners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.

The role requires a strong background in construction management and scheduling, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Competitive compensation includes full benefits and relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of construction experience on large-scale projects such as commercial, multifamily, hospitality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in planning, directing, and coordinating construction activities to ensure successful project execution.
• Assist with pre-construction activities including bid packages, procurement planning, estimating, and project setup.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Assist with quality control reviews and site safety efforts.
• Support project managers with change orders, pricing info, and documentation.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes; travel to job sites as needed.
