Job summary

DDHBAP Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a Knowledge Management Officer to design, execute, and sustain an enterprise KM strategy across all center mission functions.

You will serve as principal advisor on knowledge strategy, lead training material development, enforce governance, and coordinate education and engagement systems to enhance learning and information sharing.

Qualifications

• Requires aligning and integrating technology-enabled platforms with complex organizational processes to improve efficiency.
• Plans, organizes, and directs team-based work and negotiates with management for resources or changes.
• Sets and measures long-range KM goals and objectives.
• Analyses organizational structures and processes to improve sharing and accessibility of information.
• Applies evaluation methods to measure KM program effectiveness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain an enterprise KM strategy across all center functions.
• Advise center leadership on knowledge strategy and organizational learning.
• Plan work, assign tasks, and evaluate subordinate performance.
• Develop and enforce standards, governance, and knowledge-sharing policies.
• Lead development, maintenance of training materials, guides, and tutorials for KM tools.
