Job summary

BTS Software Solutions in Linthicum, MD, is seeking a Knowledge Manager (Mid) to support planning, coordinating, and directing knowledge management tasks for the DOD Intelligence Directorate, with TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance.

The role involves developing processes, evaluating KM applications, supporting forward deployed locations, and creating CBT videos and documentation for the DOD customer. Occasional forward deployments may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs KM, Library services, digital collections, Reference support services.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Security+ or CompTIA equivalent required.
• Site Collection Administration Course equivalent to MS55033.

Responsibilities

BTS is seeking a Knowledge Manager (Mid) for a position in Linthicum, MD.

Position Summary

Knowledge Management professional supports planning, integrating, coordinating, directing, synchronizing, and managing the knowledge and information management tasks and priorities of the DOD Intelligence Directorate.

Principle Responsibilities of the Position

• Collect, identify, collate, update, document, disseminate, recommend, maintain, and implement knowledge management processes, system architecture/information flow, and functional requirements/documentation for the DOD Headquarters and Forward Support.
• Evaluate knowledge management applications and support working groups and planning conferences.
• Fill knowledge management positions in forward deployed locations on a routine rotational basis, providing direct support to in-theater operations
• Create, maintain, and publish knowledge management CBT videos and associated documents for the DOD customer.

Education Required

• 3+ yrs. experience in KM, Library services, digital collections, Reference support services
• Bachelor's Degree
• Security + or CompTIA Equivalent
• Site Collection Administration Course equivalent to MS55033

Skills Required

• Experienced in SharePoint business processes.
• Experienced with Intelligence Information Sharing tools and applications.
• Demonstrated expert written and oral communication skills.
