Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to support the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA. The role includes program management, logistics, asset management, engineering, customer service, R&D of new capabilities, test and evaluation, manpower, training, and 24x7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.

Five or more years of knowledge management experience are required, along with an IAT I Certification and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, MIS, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5+ years of direct knowledge management experience.
• IAT I Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Overview

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TIER III (MIELS):

Bowhead is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to support the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical.
• Perform requirements analysis.
• Excellent facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• BA/S in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five (5+) years of direct knowledge experience.
• Maintain IAT I Certification.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts and demonstrable skills in oral and written communications, examples of technical publications / conference presentations may be requested.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge Management certifications.
• ITIL Certification

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

The pay scale for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
