Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and build the core KM engineering support team, establishing processes that align with Engineering Council priorities.
• Develop and execute 1‑to‑3 year KM strategies to close engineering knowledge gaps in key technology areas.
• Collaborate with senior technical experts and subject matter experts to capture critical product family knowledge through design guides and standards.
• Partner with the Digital Engineering Center of Excellence to ensure knowledge capture aligns with future‑state systems and is scalable and usable.
• Define, measure, and continuously improve KM effectiveness through metrics and feedback.
• Deploy training and awareness programs to promote KM system usage and best practices across engineering.
• Work closely with KM Business Partners, Instructional Design, and Data Analytics teams to ensure enterprise KM alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• Over 10 years of engineering experience, including work with Moog products, systems, and engineering standards.
• More than three years of people‑leadership experience, coaching high‑performing teams.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and partner cross‑functionally.
• Experience leading teams through organizational and process change.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with success in strategy and program improvements.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid technical and project‑management capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Moog data storage and knowledge repositories.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
• Must reside locally in the Buffalo, NY area or be willing to relocate; other Moog U.S. or U.K. sites may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Knowledge Management systems and practices.
• Experience in Model‑Based Definition (MBD) and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments.
• Experience with Teamcenter.
• Exposure to or experience with AI development and application.
