Our Team

You will be part of the DSS Knowledge Management team, working closely with Product Development Engineering (PDE), Product and Process Engineering (DPE), Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), Manufacturing Engineering, Quality teams, and global partners. The team is focused on preserving critical engineering knowledge, improving risk management practices, and strengthening organizational learning across multiple business units and sites.

What You Will Do

  • Drive knowledge capture initiatives by facilitating lessons learned sessions, conducting expert interviews, and extracting insights from engineering, quality, and manufacturing activities.

  • Transform technical information, incident reports, and project learnings into clear, actionable knowledge assets that support future decision-making and risk prevention.

  • Promote the effective reuse of engineering knowledge by connecting lessons learned with Foundation FMEA updates and continuous improvement activities.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for knowledge management tools and FMEA platforms, providing user support, training, and guidance to engineering teams.

  • Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and support communities of practice that encourage knowledge sharing and organizational learning.

  • Manage and enhance knowledge repositories, ensuring content quality, accessibility, and alignment to established standards.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to improve knowledge management processes, measure knowledge reuse, and drive adoption of best practices across sites.

  • Explore and implement digital and AI-enabled solutions that improve knowledge capture, content creation, and information accessibility.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Five (5) years or more experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or technical knowledge management environments.

  • Experience facilitating lessons learned sessions, knowledge capture activities, structured interviews, or technical documentation initiatives.

  • Knowledge of FMEA methodologies, including practical experience facilitating or leading FMEA workshops.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams in a product development environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Formal training or certification in AIAG-VDA FMEA methodology, Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning, or Technical Writing.

  • Experience with Plato e1ns, Auros, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge management and FMEA platforms.

  • Experience within the connector, cable assembly, electronics, or manufacturing industry.

  • Familiarity with 8D problem solving, quality management systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949), and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for knowledge capture, content creation, or process automation.

  • Experience coaching, training development, and facilitation capabilities across diverse technical audiences.
