Job summary

Molex is seeking a Quality Manager for our Hudson, WI site—a fast-moving facility that serves the Optical Connectivity business through NPI and volume production. You will lead the quality team to maximize profitability by providing products that meet customer expectations.

The role involves creating quality systems/procedures, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, guiding audits, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes such as fiber termination, die cutting, surface mount

Qualifications

  • 5+ years directly related experience in quality or a regulated industry.
  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience with FDA, international regulations, and/or ISO standards.
  • Experience navigating and leading customer or regulatory body audits.
  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Knowledge of current good manufacturing practice (cGMP).
  • Knowledge of quality tools, such as SPC, design of experiment (DOE), root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and leadership to the Quality department, including people management as follows: personnel management, managing performance, team career development, fostering open communication in all directions, ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing goals/objectives, applicable administrative processing, and fostering a team environment
  • Serve as the Management Representative, whose primary responsibility is to ensure that the facility meets internal policies and requirements, customer requirements, and facility specific quality systems
  • Devise and implement quality systems/procedures that provide continuous improvement methodology supporting manufacturing and operational consistency
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality system requirements
  • Facilitate management review activity
  • Identify and develop resources required to support customers' product-specific needs and requirements
  • Work with management to establish quality goals and objectives
  • Develop procedures, processes, and provide leadership to Training Coordinators on each shift

Your Job

Molex is seeking a Quality Manager for our Hudson, WI site - a focused, fast-moving facility that serves the rapidly growing Optical Connectivity business through New Product Introduction (NPI) and volume production. This role will manage, lead, and coordinate the activities of the quality team with the goal of maximizing company profitability by providing products that meet customer expectations. Create and implement quality systems/procedures that provide continuous improvement methodology supporting manufacturing, support groups, and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.


You will lead the quality department in a scaling manufacturing environment that produces high-quality optical connectivity products employing fiber termination, die cutting, surface mount electronics, and light assembly technologies. The site offers end-to-end NPI industrialization, high-speed manufacturing capabilities, and serves as a global Center of Excellence for process and automation technologies.

What You Will Do
