- Support the development and maintenance of AI training materials, prompt libraries, and user guidance for legal technology tools.
- Assist attorneys and staff in understanding how to apply AI tools effectively and responsibly within their practice workflows.
- Stay current on emerging AI developments relevant to legal practice and contribute observations and recommendations to the team.
Knowledge Resource Development
- Develop and maintain practice resources including SharePoint‑based sites, client‑facing portals, and work product libraries.
- Continuously improve the design and usability of knowledge resources, including suggesting site architecture, navigation, and UX enhancements informed by user feedback.

- Develop a working understanding of firm systems—including business intake, matter experience tracking, and document management—to support efficient information retrieval and compliance.
- Gain exposure to project management and support end‑to‑end innovative technology initiatives in a law firm setting.
- Assist with broader KRS and firm innovation projects as directed by team leadership.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university required. The firm welcomes candidates with backgrounds in law, public policy, information science, technology, economics, history, or international relations—demonstrated through coursework, extracurricular involvement, or prior work experience.
- Prior experience in a law firm, legal tech, or technology environment is a plus.
- AI Fluency: Hands‑on experience using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) and ability to discuss what you’ve built, tested, or learned with them. Understanding of the basics of prompt design, model limitations, and responsible AI use—and enthusiasm to dive deeper.
- Demonstrated Interest in AI & the Legal Field: Active pursuit of learning in AI and/or the legal industry—through coursework, certifications, independent projects, internships, blogs, podcasts, conferences, or self‑directed exploration. Ability to articulate why the intersection of law and technology appeals to you, and staying current on developments in both.
- Technology Enthusiasm: Rapidly adopt new applications, systems, and platforms. Exploration, experimentation, and independent problem solving. Familiarity with SharePoint, document management systems, or legal tech is a plus.
- Strong Communicator: Clear and precise written and verbal communication. Adapt style for attorneys, peers, and leadership and translate technical concepts into accessible guidance that engages users.
- Creative Problem‑Solver: Approach challenges with curiosity and analytical rigor. Seek ways to improve processes rather than maintain the status quo.
- Organized & Detail‑Oriented: Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without dropping the ball. Follow through on commitments reliably. Understand priorities, meet deadlines, and catch the details that matter.
- Proactive & Self‑Directed: Anticipate needs, flag issues early, and take ownership of work. Adaptable in a fast‑moving environment and willing to go the extra mile when the team needs it.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web‑based collaboration tools required.
