Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Back-End Engineer to design, build, and operate data infrastructure for an AI-driven knowledge platform. You will work across APIs, data pipelines, and multi-modal databases, owning reliability, performance, and scalable services for internal teams.

You will apply knowledge graph and semantic tech, from ontology alignment to ingestion, transformation, storage, retrieval, and delivery at enterprise scale. Hybrid role with travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with Knowledge Graph data hydration and ontology-based data mapping.
• Minimum 5 years experience with R2RML or similar mapping frameworks.
• Minimum 5 years experience with graph databases and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with relational databases and schema design.
• Minimum 5 years experience deploying vector databases in production.
• Minimum 5 years proficiency in Python or Java for automation and API development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Hydrate data into Knowledge Graphs by mapping to ontology models.
• Develop data mapping and transformation workflows (R2RML).
• Write and optimize SPARQL queries for graph loading and retrieval.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integrate enterprise data.
• Design scalable relational schemas and queries to support graph hydration and ETL.
• Deploy and maintain vector DB infrastructure for embedding storage and semantic retrieval.
• Design and maintain scalable graph query APIs for internal teams.
• Performance-tune graph queries, indexing, and data access patterns.
• Own containerization, deployment, and monitoring of graph services in cloud.
