Job summary

Analytica, based in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Senior Graph Database Developer to lead design, development, and optimization of graph data models and ETL pipelines for a federal program. You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to support large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

Required are 7+ years in enterprise databases and 4+ years with Cypher, plus strong SQL and data modeling skills. Ability to obtain IRS Public Trust clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise database environments.
• 4+ years of Cypher experience including data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong experience designing and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead graph database development and ETL processes on large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Design, implement, and maintain graph data models aligned with ontological references and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data structures, schemas, indexes, and relationships to optimize performance and analytics.
• Identify and document entity relationships, referential integrity constraints, and key structures, including tradeoffs between graph and hybrid schemas.
• Collaborate with DBAs, data engineers, and stakeholders to validate data accuracy, formatting, and reliability.
• Document graph models, ETL processes, and scripts per industry best practices and government guidelines.
