Job summary

ZS is seeking a senior Data Architect in the United States (Chicago area preferred) to lead the architectural design of enterprise Knowledge Graphs, including RDF/Property graph modeling, ontology development, and governance. You will optimize graph queries with SPARQL, Cypher, or Gremlin, design Graph-RAG patterns with GenAI, and shape end-user applications and APIs while guiding cross-functional teams.

This role requires 7–10 years in data architecture and strong experience with graph

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, CS, MIS, MBA, or related field with academic excellence
• 7–10 years in Data Architecture focusing on Semantic Modeling and Knowledge Graph governance
• Deep expertise with graph databases (Neo4j, Stardog, GraphDB, Neptune) and ontology tools like Protégé, TopBraid, CENtree; cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP; Python and ETL tools

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of enterprise Knowledge Graphs, including RDF/Property graph modeling and ontology development
• Act as SME in complex graph traversals and performance tuning (SPARQL, Cypher, Gremlin)
• Design Graph-RAG patterns to integrate GenAI/LLMs with Knowledge Graphs for ground truth and explainability
• Architect end-user applications and APIs consuming graph data with high performance
• Lead cross-functional teams and govern data standards, metadata management, and semantic interoperability
