Accenture is seeking a Knowledge Engineer to lead industry digital‑brain delivery on client engagements, including discovery, ontology design, and lifecycle management of Knowledge Graphs and data taxonomies.
This role requires hands‑on AI/LLM work and domain experience in insurance, media/telecom, or retail, with team leadership responsibilities.

Accenture is recognized as a global leader in AI and cloud transformation, helping businesses across industries reimagine the digital core for an AI‑native operating model. Through partnerships with frontier AI labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and the leading cloud providers, Accenture delivers end‑to‑end services that drive innovation and business agility. The Digital Core Reinvention practice builds industry super‑ontologies: industry‑ and ecosystem‑specific agentic AI and data engines that encode how a vertical actually operates — its entities, its regulations, its rhythms — so AI systems can reason inside the industry rather than about it.
A knowledge engineer with an industry lean — you want your ontologies to encode how a real vertical works, and you're happiest when the graph disagrees with the org chart and turns out to be right. You belong here even if you haven't spent years in AI. Much of what makes a great practitioner in this work was learned somewhere adjacent — strong credentials in the neighboring discipline plus a year or two of serious hands‑on work with LLM‑based systems is exactly the profile we grow.
At the Manager grade you lead industry digital‑brain delivery on a client engagement: discovery and baseline of industry‑specific patterns, ontology design and build (Knowledge Graph and Data Taxonomy, in skill terms), and the lifecycle management that keeps an industry engine current.
At the Senior Manager grade you hold authority across engagements in the vertical. We assess that fit at interview, not at requisition. This is a joint posting covering Manager (CL7) and Senior Manager (CL6) grades, with Accenture's one‑level lift at the firm's discretion. Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below. We anticipate this job posting will be posted until 12/04/2026.
Accenture offers a market competitive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and long‑term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, bonus opportunities, paid holidays, and paid time off. See more information on our benefits here:
