Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Knowledge Engineer to build enterprise semantic models and knowledge graphs that unify data across the organization. You will partner with data architecture, engineering, governance, AI, and business teams to translate business needs into scalable semantic solutions.

You will enable advanced data discovery, improve context and search, and support governance through metadata and data lineage practices, ensuring regulatory compliance and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/DS/Knowledge Eng or equivalent
• 3+ years in semantic tech, data modeling, knowledge representation, graph DBs, semantic web standards
• 3+ years building data platforms with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise data solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise semantic models, ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs.
• Define and maintain enterprise concepts, metadata standards, and data relationships for governance.
• Align data across systems by mapping to shared definitions.
• Collaborate with architecture, governance, and AI teams to translate needs into semantic solutions.
• Enable data discovery by applying semantic standards and graph tech.
• Design semantic frameworks to improve context, search and insights.
• Advance metadata, lineage, and governance practices across the organization.
