Job summary

Elk River Independent School District 728 is seeking an Advisor/Director for the assigned activity at Zimmerman Middle/High School to lead program planning, safety, and performance. The role focuses on preparing successful practice and performance plans while upholding program standards.

You will mentor staff, motivate students, supervise facilities and equipment, and ensure compliance with MSHSL rules, building strong community partnerships and a positive culture for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare successful practice/rehearsals and game/performance plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff.
• Encourage student participation and establish rapport.
• Motivate participants/athletes to achieve maximum potential.
• Maintain equipment and uniforms.
• Supervise all areas of participation including gyms, fields, arenas, theater, locker or dressing rooms, buses, etc.
• Work collaboratively with staff, Activities Director, families and community resources.
• Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.
• Complies with and supports all school district regulations and policies.
• Develops a program specific handbook.
